About the Creator
Meet Elizabeth Ruffalo, the creative mind behind Pheasant Lane Designs and Pheathers by PLD. With dual degrees in civil engineering and interior design, Liz has always had a knack for creative problem-solving and a passion for human-centric design. Liz grew up on Pheasant Lane and is dedicated to bringing intentional, well-crafted spaces to life.
How Pheathers Took Flight
An enterprising interior designer, Liz had long searched for an elegant way to keep bathroom tiles clean and protected in her own home and her clients'. While the contour toilet rugs on the market were functional, they didn’t complement the sophisticated aesthetic of her carefully curated interiors. So, she created Pheathers by PLD–an exceptional line of designer bath contour rugs.
Inspired by Nature
We chose “Pheathers” as a nod to Liz’s interior design company, Pheasant Lane Designs. However, when it came time to name our products and colors, we took the lead from the original design maven: Mother Nature. After all, what makes a bath feel more luxurious and welcoming than a vase of fresh flowers? So, go ahead, embrace freshness, and let the outside in.
